Well, I didn't see this coming.  Against all odds, this kitten stuck with our family through a ride under the hood of our car, abandonment in a country ditch and 2 subsequent guilt-ridden rescue attempts from said ditch.  My wife has some strong allergies to cat dander, yet this little furry orphan activated her maternal instincts.  She's the one who finally carried the frightened creature back to the car.  I'll admit to being a softy here too! I'm pleased to host the kitten in the studio indefinitely.  I've always wanted a studio assistant!  Of course, I'm looking at the studio differently now.  We've already witnessed some cat acrobatics that recasts the studio as a big jungle gym.  There are all sorts of perches and nooks that I never noticed and plenty of items that I need to tuck safely away.  My oil painting palette makes me a little nervous.

I'm no expert, but I think this is a female kitten.  She is yet unnamed.  Any suggestions?
