One of the projects I'm working on for St. Mary Magdalene parish in Kentwood MI.  My grayscale illustration is intended to serve as a church identity piece and it is to be carved in an oak door leading into the sanctuary.  Design Fugitives in Milwaukee is doing the fabrication.  The photos here show a test cut of the whole design in foam and a portion carved in oak.  See a collection of posts including this illustration and various other versions by clicking here.
